To avoid these pesky blemishes, make sure you have the right tools for the job. You will need car cleaning soap, a plain hose without a nozzle, a wash mitt or sponge made of microfiber or synthetic material (never use a rough towel!), and either a drier or leaf blower.
Once you’ve washed your car thoroughly with soap and rinsed it off with clean water using only gravity flow from your hose – no pressure washer! – wipe away excess moisture with a soft cloth. Then let it dry completely before applying wax to protect against future damage.
